Senior Equity Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
• Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market conditions, and individual companies. Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and other relevant data to assess the financial health and performance of companies.
• Valuation: Perform detailed valuation analyses using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
• Report Generation: Prepare and present detailed research reports and investment recommendations to the company’s partners and clients as well as produce IPO reports.
• Market Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with market news, economic developments, new policies, and industry trends to monitor and evaluate the impact on equity investments and covered sectors.
• Collaboration: Liaise with industry stakeholders particularly IR & management teams, traders, portfolio managers, as well as team members to generate and support stock ideas.
• Client Interaction: Present updates and insights to clients as well as respond to client inquiries about the market, covered sectors, and equity investments.
• Compliance: Ensure all research and recommendations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA designation or progress toward it is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Advanced knowledge of financial software and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong determination to learn and a good team player.
