Analyst / Associate
The ideal candidate has experience working in private equity, financial banking, venture capital, corporate development, or at an early stage, venture-backed technology company, although we welcome diverse backgrounds that have demonstrated analytical ability.
Responsibilities:
 
• Develop deep understanding of business models, markets and specific companies alongside your teammates to contribute to investment origination and execution. This involves: Quantitatively and qualitatively assessing market sizes, competitor dynamics, regulatory & industry outlook; Scrutinizing the financials of a business and modelling potential outcomes; Evaluating operational metrics and benchmarking them with business models in other markets; Writing clear, concise investment memos that distil the salient risks, highlights and lowlights of a proposal; Presenting a detailed future state of the world that holds logical ties to the present and charting the course forward
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to structure, negotiate and close deal documentation and due diligence exercises
• Work with portfolio companies to support in specific value creation initiatives while being a thought partner for the founding teams leveraging the breadth of Capsquare’s resources
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships in the ecosystem
• Expected allocation of time: 50% deal support (research, DD, analysis, memo writing);

About The Person We Look For
• Minimum bachelor degree or MBA from top ten worldwide universities or top five Indonesia universities
• Prior experience working in private equity, venture capital, financial services or strategic consulting firms at minimum 3 (three) years for Analyst; and 5 (five) years for Associate
• Proficiency with financial analysis – understand key accounting and cash flow concepts with modelling skills
• Outstanding financial modeling and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written skill in English
• Team player who can build relationships with internal and external stakeholder
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced dynamic environment
