Certificate in ESG Investingの名称変更について
CFA Instituteの、Certificate in ESG InvestingはSustainable Investing Certificateに名称変更します。この変更は2025年４月8日午前９時（米国東部標準時）に行われます。
このCertificateが最初に立ち上げられて以降、ESG投資の概念は進化し、時には異なる市場で多様な意味を持つようになりました。” sustainable investing” という言葉は、このCertificateが支持することを目指す、より広範で長期のインパクトと投資目的を、正確にとらえています。certificateの名称は変更されますが、カリキュラムは以前と同じで、ESG投資における環境・社会・ガバナンス分野の幅広い様々な要素をカバーしています。
1. 名称変更の影響
- ・2024年のCFA Institute、Certificate in ESG Investingに登録された方に影響はありません。学習教材および試験は”Certificate in ESG Investing”と呼ばれます。ただし、2025年4月8日以降の合格者に与えられるデジタルバッジおよびCertificateは、”Sustainable Investing Certificate”という名称となります。
- 2025年１月１日以降、2025年のCertificateに登録された方は、通常通り学習頂けますが、4月8日以降Learning Ecosystemのcertificateと、試験のcertificate名称が”Sustainable Investing Certificate”に変わります。
- 12月８日以降、すべてのESGのデジタルバッジとCertificateは、”Sustainable Investing Certificate”という新しい名称になります。これまでにcertificateを取得された方の、Accredibleのバッジとcertificateは自動的にアップデートされます。ただし、Linkedinプロフィルのcertificateはご自身で古いものを削除し、新しいものをアップロードする必要があります。
2. 名刺の記載について
名刺への記載方法は次の通り変更となります。
既に”Certificate in ESG Investing”と記載されている方には変更をお勧めします。ただし、変更を強制するものではありあせん。

Renaming of Certificate in ESG Investing
The CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing will be renamed the Sustainable Investing Certificate. This name change will take effect on 8 April 2025 at 9 am ET.
Since the certificate was first launched, the concept of ESG investing has evolved and has, at times, had varied meanings in different markets. The term “sustainable investing” now more accurately captures the broader, long-term impact and investing goals that the certificate aims to support. While we are changing the name of the certificate, the curriculum will remain the same, covering a wide variety of factors within each of the environmental, social, and governance areas of ESG investing.
1. How will this impact our audiences?
- Current candidates enrolled in the 2024 Certificate in ESG Investing will not be impacted; their study materials and exam will still be called the “Certificate in ESG Investing.” However, the digital badge and certificate passing candidates earn will use the new name “Sustainable Investing Certificate” starting on 8 April.
- Candidates who enrolled in the 2025 certificate beginning 1 January 2025 will continue studying as normal, but starting on 8 April the name of the certificate in the Learning Ecosystem and the exam they take will be labeled the “Sustainable Investing Certificate.”
- Starting on 8 April, all ESG digital badges and certificates will use the new name “Sustainable Investing Certificate.” The badge and certificate on Accredible will automatically update for anyone who has previously earned the certificate; however, certificate holders will need to delete and re-add the certification on their LinkedIn profile for the new name to appear on their profile.
