ミッドサマー・スペシャル・ランチョン 2024 ー夏場の高揚感を共有ー
2024年7月13日に東京アメリカンクラブにて、恒例の土曜ランチネットワーキングイベントの拡大版として初のミッドサマー・スペシャル・ランチョンを開催して、定員いっぱいの60名の会員の皆様にご参加いただきました。
ランチョンイベントの冒頭に日本CFA協会出川会長による開会挨拶に続き、Hedge Funds Club創業者ステファン・ニルソン様からゲストスピーチをいただきました。金融業の現場に携わる一個人として、真の自己存在感と競争力の核心が何なのか等の興味深いトピックスがあり、来場の会員皆様にとって大いに参考になりました。
前半の食事タイムに、同じテーブルに着席された会員同士が幅広い話題に花を咲かせ、日頃自身の深掘りしてきた分野以外にもキャッチアップできるきっかけとなりました。後半のネットワーキングセッションにおいて、来場者皆様が開放的な空間にて積極的に名刺交換を行ったりし、知見共有・人脈構築を図りました。有意義な二時間があっという間に去っていき、各々にとって楽しい夏場の思い出ができました。
メンバーシップ・コミッティは引き続きバライエティに富む企画を試み、ソサイエティ全体の拡大と活性化を実践してまいりますので、引き続き多くの方からのご参画・ご関与を宜しくお願いいたします。

Mid-Summer Special Luncheon 2024ーSharing a summer moment with members―
On July 13, 2024, we held the first Mid-Summer Special Luncheon event for society members at Tokyo American Club, which was an extension version of the regular Saturday lunch networking since last year, with capacity of 60 attendees.
At the beginning of this luncheon event, Mr. Masato Degawa, CFA, the President of CFA Society Japan, delivered the opening remarks. We were also honored to have Mr. Stefan Nilsson, the Founder of Hedge Funds Club, who delivered a special guest speech. This precious speech touched on several inspiring topics regarding true personal value and core competencies as a professional player in the financial industry. We believe that the messages resonated with luncheon attendees.
During the dining session, members communicated with each other seated at the same table based on broad topics and took this opportunity to catch up with many fields other than their current career focuses. We also provided a networking session for attendees in the latter part of this event. At the spacious venue, members exchanged their business cards as well as professional opinions and expanded personal networks consciously. This special two-hour time passed so fast. We hope this event becomes one of the wonderful memories of this summer season for attendees.
The Membership Committee will continue to create various new events and make our efforts to expand and invigorate our society, so welcome everyone to get involved in us and join our events.
