日本CFA協会設立25周年記念パーティを開催～四半世紀の歩みとこの先～
2024年11月5日に、東京會舘にて日本CFA協会設立25周年記念パーティを開催いたしました。CFA Institute（CFA協会）のマーガレット・フランクリン会長をはじめとする海外ゲスト、日本CFA協会の活動にご支持とご応援を頂いた業界関係者皆様、日本CFA協会会員や受験者などの200名以上の方々にご来場いただきました。
パーティの冒頭には、日本CFA協会出川会長の開会挨拶に続き、CFA協会本部のフランクリン会長より基調講演をいただきました。グローバルにわたるCFA協会の変革と発展のご紹介や日本金融業界への前向きなご期待等、当協会の活動に関わってきた来場者皆様にとって良い激励となりました。
パーティ後半のボランティアアワードセッションでは、CFA協会成長市場グローバル・パートナーシップとクライアント・ソリューションズ部門責任者ブレンダ・ホウ, CFAから、１年間ボランティアとして日本CFA協会の活動を支えて頂いたボランティアの皆様に記念品の贈呈と表彰祝辞をいただきました。
日本CFA協会の設立から25年間も経った節目に、グローバル金融業界の関係者ならびに日本社会の有識者とともに成長し続けてきた歴史を振り返りながら、会員数の伸長と影響規模の拡大を前向きに展望し、来場者皆様は有意義な時間を共に過ごしました。
メンバーシップ・コミッティはこれからも様々なイベントを企画し、協会員同士並びに外部関係者の間のコミュニケーション機会を創出いたしますので、引き続き多くの方からのご関心・ご支持を期待いたしております。

Event report of the 25th Anniversary Party of CFA Society Japan ー Sharing our stories for a quarter century and a bright futureー
On November 5, 2024, CFA Society Japan (CFA Japan) held its 25th anniversary event at Tokyo Kaikan. Over 250 attendees joined the celebrations including Ms. Margaret Franklin, CFA, President and CEO of CFA Institute. We also had the pleasure of welcoming other esteemed international guests, industry professionals who have supported CFA Japan’s initiatives and CFA Japan members and CFA candidates.
The event began with opening remarks from Mr. Masato Degawa, CFA, President of CFA Japan, followed by a keynote speech by Ms. Marget Franklin, CFA. In her address, she highlighted the global transformation and progress of the CFA Institute, shared her optimistic outlook for Japan’s financial industry, and offered inspiring encouragement to all participants who have been involved in CFA Japan’s activities.
The latter part of the celebration featured a Volunteer Awards session where Ms. Brenda Hou, CFA, Head, Global Partnerships & Client Solutions, Growth Markets, CFA Institute, provided recognition certificates to volunteers for their dedication, time and efforts in supporting CFA Japan’s activities over the past year. Commemorative gifts were presented to the volunteers, accompanied by a heartfelt congratulatory message from Ms. Hou who commended their invaluable contributions.
Marking the 25th anniversary of CFA Japan, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on the society’s growth alongside global financial industry stakeholders and thought leaders from the society. Attendees celebrated the Society's history while looking ahead with optimism toward the expansion of its membership and its impact on the local financial community.
The Membership Committee will continue to plan a wide variety of events aimed at creating opportunities for communication among society members as well as with external stakeholders. We look forward to your continued interest and support in our future initiatives.
