第4弾キャリアイベントを開催
-女性シニアリーダーによるパネルディスカッション及びネットワーキング-
日本CFA協会は2025年10月7日に、日本および海外の金融業界等で長年ご活躍されてきた3 名の女性シニアリーダーをお招きし、協会員及び関係者向けにキャリアイベントを開催いたしました。
当日のイベントでは、秋田 夏実 氏（株式会社みずほフィナンシャルグループ 執行役常務、グループCBO兼グループCCuO）、Natalie GILL 氏（Head of Global DEI Strategy & Industry Engagement, PGIM ）、黄 春梅 氏, CFA, CPA（インパクト・キャピタル株式会社、代表取締役；日本CFA協会 理事）の３名にご登壇いただき、パネルディスカッション及びネットワーキングの形式にて、皆様からインスピレーションをご共有いただきました。
パネルディスカッションでは、協会メンバーシップ・コミッティ担当理事 佐藤 靖子, CFAがモデレータを務め、登壇者皆様のキャリアを踏まえ、金融業界における女性にとっての居心地の良さや、キャリアとプライベートの両立、キャリア転換の際の心得などについて知見を語っていただきました。
秋田氏は、日系と外資系企業の違いに触れつつ、「ワーク・ライフ・ハーモニー」をキーワードに、キャリア構築とともに家庭や趣味の時間も大切にしていると述べました。GILL 氏は、ロンドンでキャリアをスタートした当時の思い出をはじめ、グローバルで働く日常やDE&Iに関する専門的な見解を披露しました。黄氏は、自らソーシャルインパクトファンドを立ち上げたアントレプレナーシップとしての姿勢を語り、また常に知識を吸収し、新たなツールを身に付けて活用しながら学び続ける姿勢を「ドラえもんのポケット」に喩え、キャリアにおける心構えを伝えました。
男女や国境を問わず、40名を超える参加者がご来場になり登壇者皆様の刺激的なお話に、参加者も積極的に質問・コメントを交わし、熱気に包まれた充実したディスカッションとなりました。
最後はネットワーキングセッションで締めくくられました。参加者は登壇者に直接感謝の気持ちを伝え、自身の悩みに関するアドバイスをいただくほか、同じ思いを共有する参加者とのつながりを深める貴重な交流の機会となりました。

CFA Society Japan Career Event #4
―Panel Discussion by Senior Women Leaders and Networking―
On 7 October 2025, CFA Society Japan(CFAJ) held our 4th career event, focusing on women career pathway in the financial industry. CFA had the pleasure of welcoming three women senior executives from the financial industry in Japan and the UK to deliver career stories and advice to participants. The panelists were Ms. Natsumi Akita, the Senior Managing Corporate Executive, Group CCuO / Group CBO of Mizuho Financial Group, Ms. Natalie Gill, Head of Global DEI Strategy & Industry Engagement from PGIM and Ms. Chunmei Huang, CFA, CPA, Representative Director of Impact Capital Limited meanwhile Board Director of CFAJ. The panel discussion was moderated by Yasuko Sato, CFA, Board Director of CFAJ.
The discussion covered relevant topics such as career journeys, work-life balance, and career inspirations. Having spanned her career at both Japanese and foreign companies, Natsumi emphasised the importance of dedicating time to family and hobbies while building one’s career, introducing an insightful concept of “work–life harmony”. Natalie shared her experiences of starting her career in London, along with her expertise in global work and DEI. She also highlighted her mindset of adding ‘yet’ to things she does not know — reminding herself that learning is an ongoing process. Chunmei spoke about her unique career transition from a bank to creating a social impact fund. On top of holding an MBA, she is also a CFA and CPA charterholder. She emphasised how pursuing these designations had advanced not only her knowledge but also her career. She also underscored the importance of curiosity, continuous learning, and making full use of one’s existing skills, which were much like reaching into ‘Doraemon’s pocket’, small but filled with useful tools to overcome any challenge.
Q&A session followed the panel discussion, which attracted a great deal of interest from attendees, including students considering careers in finance and mid-career professionals seeking advice on workplace challenges. The speakers offered honest and valuable insights for these active, frank and relatable questions, which formed lively and fulfilling discussions.
The event concluded with a networking session, where participants had the opportunity to express their gratitude to the speakers, connect with other professionals, and learn more about CFAJ’s committee activities.
