CFA資格授与式を開催 (3月4日)
3月上旬、日本CFA協会（CFAJ）は、新たにCharterholderとなった方々およびLevel III試験合格者総勢45名の参加者を迎えて、CFA資格授与式を開催しました。参加者人数は過去最多となりました。
イベントは、当協会会長の出川昌人, CFAによる祝辞で始まりました。出川会長は参加者の成果を称えるとともに、CFA資格が自身のキャリアをどのように高めてきたかについて語りました。そして、CFA資格取得はあくまで出発点にすぎず、プロフェッショナルの道 においては継続的な学習が不可欠であることを強調しました。さらに、新しいメンバーに対し、次世代の投資プロフェッショナルを支援しながら、ローカル・ソサエティに積極的に関わり、ネットワークを広げてほしいと呼びかけました。
続いて、新たにCharterholderとなった荒木好美, CFA氏が登壇し、自身の歩みを共有しました。荒木氏は、粘り強い努力、決意、そして途中で感じた迷いを乗り越える力について語り、それらが最終的にゴールへと導いたと述べました。続いて、当協会の各コミッティのボランティア代表者が、それぞれのコミッティ活動目的を紹介し、新しいメンバーが参加できる今後の機会について説明しました。今年のセレモニーでは、4社のスポンサー企業の代表出席者も迎えられ、その支援がイベントに大きく寄与しました。
セレモニーの最後にはネットワーキングが行われ、新メンバーが業界の仲間と交流する貴重な機会となりました。乾杯の音頭及び締めくくりそれぞれには、当協会副会長の鹿子木 亨紀, CFAと、メンバーシップ・コミッティ担当理事の佐藤 靖子, CFAが挨拶を行い、自身の経験を共有するとともに、参加者に対して、努力の末に得た資格を最大限に活かしてほしいと激励しました。

CFA Charter Award Event (Mar. 4, 2026)
In early March, CFA Society Japan (CFAJ) hosted a Charter Award Ceremony for 45 participants – a record number, consisting of newly qualified Charterholders and Level III exam passers.
The event began with a congratulatory message from Mr. Masato Degawa, CFA, President of CFA Society Japan, who celebrated the participants’ achievements and shared how the CFA designation has elevated his own career. He emphasised that earning the Charter is only the beginning, and that continuous learning is essential in our profession. He also encouraged new members to engage with the local society to expand their networks while supporting the next generation of investment professionals.
Following his remarks, Ms. Yoshimi Araki, CFA, one of the newly qualified Charterholders, took the stage to share her personal journey. She spoke about resilience, determination, and overcoming moments of doubt–qualities that ultimately carried her to the finish line. Volunteer representatives from each of CFAJ’s committees then introduced their missions and highlighted upcoming opportunities for new members to get involved. This year’s ceremony also welcomed representatives from four corporate sponsors, whose support contributed greatly to the event.
The ceremony concluded with a networking session, providing a valuable opportunity for new members to connect with industry peers. The toast and final remarks were delivered by Mr. Kanokogi, Vice President of CFAJ, and Ms. Yasuko Sato, CFA, Board Director in charge of the Membership Committee respectively, who shared their experiences and encouraged participants to make the most of their hard‑earned designations.
