In this After-Work Lecture, Holger Kahlert, Investment & Sales Specialist, Executive Director at UBS Asset Management, and Frank Mohr, Global Head of ETF Sales Trading at Société Générale, will provide two complementary perspectives on the evolving ETF landscape. The session will explore how ETFs have developed beyond traditional index-tracking approaches, highlight the differences between active and passive ETF structures, and discuss the key market mechanisms that matter most in real-world trading and portfolio implementation. About the speakers
Holger Kahlert is an Investment & Sales Specialist within the ETF & Index Fund Sales team at UBS Asset Management in Zurich. He is responsible for leading and expanding key institutional relationships across banks, asset managers, insurers, and pension funds in Liechtenstein and Switzerland, with a focus on delivering ETF and index fund-based investment solutions tailored to client objectives. He has 20 years of investment industry experience spanning asset management, investment banking, and corporate finance roles across Zurich, London, and Frankfurt.
Frank Mohr is Managing Director and Global Head of ETF Sales Trading at Société Générale. In his current role, Frank Mohr is overseeing the bank’s worldwide ETF sales‑trading activities. He began his career at Commerzbank in 1985 in Equity Sales, where he covered institutional clients across Europe. In 2006, he became Head of ETF Sales Trading and developed Commerzbank’s ETF market‑making platform into an award‑winning European and Asian infrastructure. Following the integration of Commerzbank’s Equity Markets & Commodities (EMC) business into Société Générale in 2020, Frank enter in his current role. He is a frequent international ETF speaker, contributing to events such as Practical Issues for Trading the Next Generation of ETFs and Xetra’s 25 Years of ETFs series.
