Accounting, Grants, and Finance Coordinator

Company: The University of Chicago – Development Innovation Lab

This role supports the management of gifts, grants, and institutional funding. It reports to the Accounting, Finance and Grants Manager and offers early career professionals an opportunity to gain experience in finance, accounting, and sponsored research operations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Finance
  • Minor or concentration in Accounting preferred

Experience

  • 1–3 years in accounting, operations, grant administration, or finance
  • Experience with budgeting, ledgers, invoices and fiscal reporting
  • Experience with financial systems such as Workday or Oracle/PeopleSoft
  • Experience with GAAP and grant proposal submissions
  • Experience in higher education or non-profit environments preferred

Experience
