The CFA Society Ireland was delighted to contribute to the CFA Institute Blueprint for the 2024 - 2029 Legislative Period in the EU.
The Blueprint focuses on five main legislative areas which cover:Resiliency of Capital Markets, Technology, Business Conduct, Sustainability andPensions. These themes align with CFA Institute’s Research and Policy Center focus areas. This Blueprint provides key recommendations for EU policymakers and the financial sectorfor the next 5 years. It also includes National Blueprints from several CFA Institute societies inthe EU and Switzerland. These include CFA Societies in Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark,Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland,Portugal, Romania, Spain, and Switzerland. With the inclusion of these viewpoints, thisBlueprint offers a range of perspectives and allows regulators and stakeholders to compareperspectives from different nations on the key themes in the EU. Finally, this edition of our Blueprint features a colour-code priority page, which visually ranks themost important regulatory priorities for CFA Institute and its local societies in the EU.
