- Member of CFA Institute and CFA Society Milwaukee
- 4000 hours of relevant work experience over 36+ months
- Passed all three levels of the CFA Program

Regular Membership Criteria
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience
- Pass Level 1 of the CFA exam, Level II CIPM® or pass the self-administered Standards of Practice Exam
- 4000 hours of relevant work experience over 36+ months
- Agree to adhere to and sign the Member's Agreement, a Professional Conduct Statement, and any additional documentation requested by the CFA Institute.
Affiliate Membership Criteria
- Pass Level 1 of the CFA exam or other such appropriate examination as approved by the Board of Governors, or pass the self-administered Standards of Practice Exam.
- Have 12 months of acceptable professional work experience in the investment decision-making process.
- Agree to adhere to and sign the Member's Agreement and a Professional Conduct Statement
Reference Requirements
Three professional references are required with your application. If one of your references is from a regular member of CFA Society Milwaukee, then only two professional references are required. References from your supervisor(s) are preferred.
Dues
CFA Institute annual membership dues are $299 for Charterholder, Regular, and Affiliate.
Society annual membership dues are $125 for Charterholder, Regular and Affiliate members.
