CFA Society Seattle Book Club

Book Club meetings are hosted monthly on Tuesdays from 5:00pm - 6:00pm via Zoom

Join the CFA Society Seattle book club!

Book clubs are a great way to establish a sense of community with other readers. You can spend hours chatting with people who love the same authors as you, or debating about the merits of a particular character. Its a great way to add to your social life and network with like minded people!

Please sign up for the Book Club via the registration links which can be found on our website's Events page and also in our Weekly Newsletter; we will be sending additional details in the days leading up to the event. Chosen books will have some relevance to current events.

2022 was a prolific year for CFA Society Seattle's Virtual Book Club. We read and discussed 7 books, averaging one book every 2 months. The books included Angrynomics by Eric Lonergan and Mark Blyth, Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells us, What it Doesn’t, and Why -It Matters by Professor Steven E. Koonin, There Is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years by Mike Berners-Lee, Ministry For The Future by Kim Stanley Robinson, Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order: Why Nations Succeed and Fail by Ray Dalio, Next: The Future Just Happened by Michael Lewis and Shutdown: How Covid Shook the World’s Economy by Adam Tooze.

We started 2022 by discussing Angrynomics by Eric Lonergan and Mark Blyth, and were therefore delighted to have Mark Blyth as a guest speaker at the wonderful 2022 annual forecast dinner.
