The  CFA Society Victoria  in partnership with  The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce  is proud to announce that Victoria will host the Bank of Canada’s Senior Deputy Governor Carolyn Rogers, who will share her perspectives on topics related to Canada's economy and financial system. The Bank of Canada is the nation's central bank. Its main role is “to promote the economic and financial welfare of Canada,” as defined in the  Bank of Canada Act .  Their main areas of responsibility are:   Monetary policy ,  Financial system ,  Currency ,  Funds management ,  and Regulatory oversight.
