This is the annual proxy for CFA Society France. We would like to remind our members that voting will take place exclusively online.

Online voting will close on Monday, 7 September 2026 at 7PM.

All resolutions must receive one of the following votes: "FOR", "REJECT" or "ABSTAIN"

We kindly ask you to read the following voting rules for candidates carefully before proceeding:

  • All candidates must receive a vote ("For", "Abstain" or "Reject"). Vote submissions with a missing vote for at least one candidate will not be valid and will be excluded from the ballot.
  • The first directorship will go to the candidate having received the highest number of "For" votes.
  • The second directorship will go to the candidate having received the second highest number of "For" votes.
  • When two candidates receive equal number of "For" votes, the candidate with the lowest number of "Reject" votes will take the directorship.
  • If several candidates receive equal number of "For", "Abstain" and "Reject" votes for any given directorship, the candidate with the longest length of membership ("ancienneté d'adhésion") will take the directorship. 
  • To be elected, a candidate must receive a higher number of "For" votes than "Reject" votes.

Nikolai DOINIKOV, CFA
Secretary General

Nikolai Doinikov received his CFA Charter in 2019. Prior to that, he received Bachelor degrees in Economics and Management and Master Degrees in Finance and International Economic Relations. He started his career as a Financial Analyst in 2015 and is currently working as a Senior Risk Manager at SYQUANT Capital.
He also is a CAIA Charterholder since 2020 and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) since 2025.
Nikolai was elected to the Board of Directors in 2024 and has been serving as Secretary General since then.

Gabriel HOUETTE, CFA
Director

A graduate of the ESLSCA business school, Gabriel has spent over 20 years working in Financial Markets as a Credit trader. He started his career at Crédit Lyonnais on the bond trading desk and afterwards moved to London to join ABN AMRO as a Credit trader. He joined Natixis in 2008 to trade European Corporate debt. In 2021, he left trading to take over Conduct & Culture for CIB. In 2025 he joined the CIB transformation team to lead strategic organisational projects.

Gabriel received his CFA Charter in 2017 and joined CFA Society France shortly after. He launched the ESG committee in 2019 and played a key role in the launch of the Certificate in ESG investing in France. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2022.

Roxana MITROI, CFA
Director

Roxana Mitroi holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from HEC Lausanne, Switzerland. She began her career in 2011 at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, where she has held various Portfolio Manager positions and developed extensive expertise across multi-asset investing.
Throughout her career, Roxana has built deep experience in currency hedging strategies and multi-asset Fund of Funds portfolios. Today, she has a Multi-Asset and Overlay Portfolio Manager role, where she manages asset allocation portfolios across a range of risk profiles and diversified liquid asset classes. She is also a member of several investment committees, contributing her expertise to strategic investment and portfolio allocation decisions.
Roxana became a CFA charterholder in 2018 and has been actively involved with CFA Society France as a volunteer since 2022. She played a key role in coordinating the CFA Quant Awards, a pan-European competition recognizing excellence in quantitative finance. Since 2024, she is as a Board Member of CFA Society France, further contributing to the development of the investment profession and the CFA community in France.

Matthieu SAVI, CFA
Director

Matthieu Savi, a graduate of HEC Montreal, specializes in Quantitative Finance and has a deep-seated passion for integrating cutting-edge technology within the realm of investment and financial consultation. Bringing more than 12 years of professional experience to the table, Matthieu presently serves as the Consulting Director at FactSet France. He honed his skills in business valuation at the Solocal group, playing an instrumental role in driving the group's digital growth, and even contributing to a book on Mergers and Acquisitions. With an eye for innovation, Matthieu then sought to implement pioneering solutions within a fintech environment. Since 2018, he has been a respected CFA Charter Holder and has been an active member of the International CFA Society since 2015. His primary aspiration within the Society is to cement his influence and elevate its global profile.

Irina PAES, CFA

Irina Paes is an investment leader with nearly 20 years of experience in financial markets, specializing in insurance asset management and sustainable finance. As Insurance Mandate Advisor at BNP Paribas Asset Management, she partners with institutional insurance clients to develop investment strategies that balance long-term performance with evolving regulatory and sustainability requirements.


Throughout her career, Irina has combined deep investment expertise with a collaborative and international perspective. She has led sustainable finance initiatives across the BNP Paribas Group, shaped investment policies for insurance portfolios, and worked with stakeholders across Europe, Asia, and Latin America to deliver strategic transformation and responsible investment solutions.


A CFA Charterholder and Executive MBA graduate from ESCP Business School, Irina has been an active member of CFA Society France for several years. Having benefited from the CFA community throughout every stage of her career, she is passionate about strengthening member engagement, promoting the highest professional standards, and building a more connected and impactful investment community.

Veera SOMERSALMI, CFA

Veera Somersalmi is a private markets professional with more than 25 years of experience across private equity, venture capital, fundraising, and institutional investor relations. As Director of Investor Relations at Bpifrance, she works closely with institutional investors in France and across Europe to strengthen long-term partnerships and support investment initiatives.


Over the course of her career, Veera has built a unique perspective on the private equity ecosystem, having worked as a limited partner, general partner, placement agent, and investment advisor. She has held senior positions at leading organizations including Standard Life, CapMan, Global Private Equity, and Bpifrance, and has extensive experience in fund structuring, capital raising, investor relations, and strategic advisory across Europe.


A CFA Charterholder since 2005 and an active member of CFA Society France since 2015, Veera has played a key role in strengthening the Society's mentoring initiatives. She co-developed the Mentoring Program, served as a mentor for five years, and regularly contributes to the Society by organizing events focused on private markets and long-term investment themes. Passionate about supporting professionals throughout every stage of their careers, she is committed to fostering an engaged, inclusive, and internationally connected CFA community.
