CFA Institute Research Challenge 2023/24 has reached the Local Final stage, scheduled to take place on 24th February 2024 at Connexion, Bangsar South. The Top 5 local finalist teams were unveiled on 20th January 2024 during the CFA Institute Research Challenge x Securities Industry Development Corporation Networking Event at Securities Commissions.
We are delighted to share that this year saw a record-breaking participation of 38 teams from 16 universities in the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2023/24 term. Throughout the term, participants engaged in various activities including a local kick-off meeting, meetings with the subject company, Karex Berhad, financial modelling training, site visitations, and a networking event leading up to the local final announcement.
We appreciate the hard work and dedication that our participants had been paid through for the research report.
