CFA Society Malaysia co-organised the inaugural Single Family Office Summit Malaysia on 22 May 2025, hosted by the Securities Commission Malaysia, and in collaboration with Forest City - Country Garden Pacificview. As co-organiser, CFA Society Malaysia contributed by championing thought leadership and supporting the elevation of professional standards within the investment and wealth management space.
President of CFA Society Malaysia, Jin Yoong Chong, CFA, delivered the Welcome Remarks. He highlighted that CFA Charterholders uphold a designation rooted in professional excellence and strong ethics, and expressed hope that they will support emerging family offices by bringing technical rigor to impact investing and philanthropic ventures.
The Summit brought together family principals, wealth planners, legal advisors, and financial professionals from across the region. It featured a series of insightful panel discussions led by experts from esteemed financial and advisory institutions, covering capital market access, legacy planning, taxation, and the infrastructure required to create a facilitative family office ecosystem in Malaysia.
