The CFA Society Orange County Foundation is proud to sponsor the Host-A-Student program which seeks to connect local college and university students passionate about a career in finance with local investment professionals in the Orange County area. In addition, the Foundation also invites candidates in the CFA program to participate Host-A-Student program events.
Firms that choose to participate in the program will host a group of students (size will vary by firm) at their local offices for a one- to two-hour session during which the hosting firm will share the firm's business purpose, services provided by the firm, the firm's background, relevant investment philosophies, and generally conclude with a brief tour of the firm and/or an open forum Q&A session.
The Host-A-Student program is a unique and intimate way to connect with motivated individuals interested in pursuing an education and career in the investment industry, as well as an opportunity for participating firms to share their firm's purpose and give back to the local community.
