    Level II Fixed Income April 2025

    Are you ready for the Level II CFA Exam? How about the Fixed Income section? While Fixed Income at Level II is only 10% - 15% of the exam there’s a lot of complex quantitative material to digest that can feel overwhelming if you have not seen it before. Are you ready to answer questions on forward interest rates, how to price a bond using a variety of different valuation methodologies, as well as discuss yield curves, credit spreads, and credit default swaps? Please join Peter Stutz, CFA as he helps prepare you for the fixed income section of the Level II CFA Exam. This workshop will take you through some key concepts as well as provide you with 30-40 exam-type questions covering each of the five learning modules. Mr. Stutz will work through solutions to these problems and provide test taking tips specific to the fixed income portion of the exam.

    Join CFA Orange County (CFAOC) and Financial Planning Association Orange County (FPAOC) for a day of golf, networking, cocktails and snacks at Aliso Viejo Country Club, 33 Santa Barbara Dr, Aliso Viejo, CA on Monday, May 19, 2025 for the 5th Annual CFA/FPA OC Golf Tournament. Participation in the Golf Tournament includes networking, breakfast, lunch, balls for the driving range, complimentary tee prizes, 18 holes of golf (cart included), cocktail reception, a raffle and awards ceremony. For those newer to golf or unable to commit to the full event, there will be a golf clinic from 2-3pm with club pros. During the tournament, you will have the opportunity to participate in the following contests:   Register Today! Format: 4-person scramble All players tee-off (Must use at least one drive per player on both front and back nine). The best drive is selected by the team. Each player then hits a second shot from the chosen first shot site. The best second shot is selected by the group. This process is repeated until the hole is completed. Explain the ethical responsibilities required by the Code and Standards, including the sub-sections of each standard. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct by interpreting the Code and Standards in various situations involving issues of professional integrity. Recommend practices and procedures designed to prevent violations of the Code and Standards. Evaluate practices, policies, and conduct relative to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. Explain how the practices, policies, or conduct does or does not violate the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. Explain the purpose of the Asset Manager Code and the benefits that may accrue to a firm that adopts the Code. Explain the ethical and professional responsibilities required by the six General Principles of Conduct of the Asset Manager Code.
