CFA Society The Bahamas (CFASB) is a non-profit association of investment and financial services professionals and persons interested in the profession. Its mission is to lead the Bahamian investment industry by promoting ethics, building awareness, and fostering education in the local community. CFASB advocates for these values through liaising with regulators, employers, professionals, candidates of the CFA Program and other programs sponsored by the CFA Institute, and the general public. CFASB also spearheads events and initiatives aimed at fulfilling its mission.
The organization was founded in August 1990 and officially became a Society within the CFA Institute umbrella on May 23, 1999. Currently CFASB has approximately 60 members, the large majority of whom hold the Charter.
