Brian Maguire has been a member of the Investor Relations, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis teams at Westlake Corporation (NYSE: WLK) and Westlake Chemical Partners (NYSE: WLKP) since 2022.
Prior to joining Westlake, Mr. Maguire was Head of Investor Relations & Strategy at Beard Energy Transition Acquisition Corp where he oversaw the company’s successful $230 million IPO. Previously, Mr. Maguire was a sell-side analyst at Goldman Sachs for 10 years covering the Chemical, Paper, Packaging, and Environmental Services sectors. During 2008 and 2009 Mr. Maguire was a buy-side analyst at Alliance Bernstein in New York and prior to that he was a sell-side analyst at Lehman Brothers for three years covering the Educational Services sector. He began his career at Accenture, where he spent five years in their Financial Services practice.
Mr. Maguire holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
