In addition to our volunteer board, our society is fortunate to receive support from many volunteers and organisations.

Ainsley McLaren, Associate Director – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)

Ainsley is a Trustee on the Melanesian Mission Trust Board and has over 25 years’ investment management experience in number of senior roles, including Executive Director at Harbour Asset Management, Executive Director and Head of Investment Management at First State Investments (NZ), and Head of Investment Management for ASB Group Investments.  Ainsley holds a B.Com in Economics, and previously served on the Boards of the Financial Markets Authority, the Government Superannuation Fund Authority and Hohepa Auckland Regional Board.  She is an Associate Member of CFA Society NZ.

Anna Boyle, CFA, Associate Director - University Outreach 

Anna is a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Investment Solutions team at BT Funds Management (BTNZ), where she has worked since 2008 apart from a brief time in 2021-22. Anna supports the Head of Investment Solutions in the leadership of the team and has responsibility for the research, selection and monitoring activities of external investment managers utilised within the funds managed by BTNZ. Prior to BTNZ, Anna worked in investment banking in the UK for four years, for a total of over 20 years investment experience. Anna holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Management from the University of Auckland.

Stephanie Peterson, CFA, Associate Director - Candidate Outreach 

Stephanie is a Director in PwC New Zealand’s Corporate Finance team with international experience in strategy, transactions, and commercial advisory. She has advised on major capital raises, valuations, and investment decisions across the food & fibre, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Prior to PwC, she held senior roles at Nutrien in North America, focused on corporate and commercial strategy, M&A, and FP&A. Stephanie holds a BCom in Finance and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Calgary and is a CFA charterholder. She is also the founder of the Nutrien Academy, a leadership programme advancing women in middle management, and has served on the Finance Committee of KidSport Calgary & Area.
