MART x CFAP Cup is a 7-week bonds trading competition among junior and senior college students who will be mentored by professional fixed income traders who are also members of the Money Market Association of the Philippines, Inc. (MART). During the competition, the students will be given lectures on basics of fixed income investing and trading, market dynamics, and code of ethics for traders. Participants will have first-hand experience trading in the government securities market using real-life market data and scenarios. A virtual seed fund of PHP 1 billion is allocated to each team at the start of the competition and teams shall strive to achieve the highest total-return portfolio value by the end of the competition.
