Collegiate Financial Plan Competition
CFASP 10th annual collegiate personal financial plan competition competition for 2023-2024 will be starting soon!
New in 2023, we are proud to welcome the Financial Planning Association of Pittsburgh (FPA) as a partner in administering the competition.
2023 Financial plan competition:
- Application can be found HERE
- Participating students can complete plans and submit either to a moderating professor/advisor or straight to CFA Pittsburgh's Financial Literacy Chair Gene Natali
- April 1st is the submission deadline.
- Grading rubric can be found HERE
Fun Facts:
- Over 3,000 college students have built personal financial plans.
- 26 unique college & universities have participated.
- Messiah University has won the competition each of the past 2-years.
- University of Pittsburgh has the most Top-10 finishers (24 total).
- In 2022, nearly 50% of submitted plans came from non-finance majors.
