Ethical issues in the financial sector have gained increasing importance in recent years, especially since the 2008 international financial crisis. Likewise, issues related to environmental, social and corporate governance issues ("ESG") are central to promoting more efficient, transparent and sustainable financial markets.

According to its mission and leadership role in the promotion of ethics in the financial sector, CFA Society Portugal establishes an award to promote the development of research related to ESG and ethical professional standards in the financial sector.

Award

A monetary prize of €3,000 will be distributed among the 3 theses with higher classifications in the award.
