California has been leading the nation in raising the minimum wage. What effects is this having on the California economy? Jeffrey Clemens is one of the nation's leading scholars examining these important policy questions using objective, replicable methods and natural experiments. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University in 2011. He is a Research Associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research, Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Hoover Institution, and Co-Editor of several leading academic journals. He is currently Professor of Economics at UCSD where he serves as Director of our Center for Economic Policy Analysis.
