We are excited to host the sixth pickleball social in San Diego generously sponsored by Avantis Investors, starting in 2023 with a fantastic new venue: San Diego Mission Bay Resort. This time we are bringing together the CFA Society San Diego, FPA San Diego, and FPA NexGen in a joint event, for even more professional and personal networking opportunities.
Our time on the courts will be from 6 PM to 8 PM, please check-in at 5:45 PM so we can maximize our time playing. We will run a ladder format, where everyone is paired up with players at a comparable skill level. For first-time players or those wanting a refresh, we will provide a quick introduction covering basic technique and strategy so you can be on your way to winning your first games
If you have your own paddle please bring it, but if not you will be able to borrow one. Please bring water/hats/sunscreen and wear athletic clothing and sneakers. Here are the pickleball rules, as well as a few basic tips to get started in the game. To save time on the courts, please take 5 minutes to familiarize yourself with how to keep score in pickleball.
