Adam Posen is President of the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the nation's leading nonpartisan research organization providing accessible economic analysis of issues in international economics. Since receiving his Ph.D. from Harvard, his remarkable honors include selection as a Distinguished Fellow of Europe's prestigious Center for Economic Policy and Research, receiving the Order of the Rising Sun from the government of Japan, designation as a "Superstar Central Banker" by Atlantic magazine, and being named an honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II. His publications include an influential book co-authored with Ben Bernanke, Thomas Laubach, and Frederic Mishkin.
