Pickleball Tournament!

We are excited to host our next pickleball event, generously sponsored by Avantis Investors and Women in ETFs. This will be our first time at   The Tennis and Pickleball Club at Newport Beach – a private club located between Fashion Island and the water, with plenty of courts and welcoming staff. We will run our usual ladder format on 8 courts, plus a more competitive “Kings of the Court” setup on the 9 th court. For first-time players or those wanting a refresh, we will provide an introduction covering basic technique and strategy so you can be on your way to winning your first games. Players will rotate and switch partners after every game, so come prepared to network, socialize, and have a ton of fun! We’ll have refreshments and snacks available court-side while we’re networking or catching our breath. Please bring adequate athletic clothing, shoes, hats, etc. Players are welcome to bring their own pickleball paddles or use the ones provided. CFAOC Annual Membership Meeting

This annual event brings together our CFAOC Community with annual membership updates that are pertinent to the industry. In addition, this year we’ll be hosting local non-profit leaders in our community who will provide an important update about their work and progress in several different community issues. Speakers: Ann Truxaw Ramirez, Chief Development Officer Orange County United Way  Ann Truxaw Ramirez is the Chief Development Officer for Orange County United Way where she is responsible for spearheading fundraising efforts for the organization and its four key areas: United for Student Success, United for Financial Security, United to End Homelessness, and 211OC. Ann manages the corporate engagement, major gifts, special events, and grants and contracts departments, serving as a critical member of the senior leadership team.  Since starting with Orange County United Way in 2016, Ann has been instrumental in the increase of grant and contract revenue by more than 1,100%. This funding has positively impacted the lives of more than 100,000 people over the last five years through Orange County United Way’s direct-service programs in education, financial stability, and housing.  Ann holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Creighton University and a Master of Public Policy degree from Rutgers University, with a concentration in International Health Policy.   Claudia Bonilla Keller, Chief Executive Officer Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County  Claudia Bonilla Keller, an established nonprofit executive, joined Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County as chief mission officer in February 2020 and was named CEO on January 1, 2022. Keller leads all aspects of food bank operations, including outreach to donors, community partners, volunteers and the public to educate, inform and inspire action in Second Harvest’s mission of ensuring dignified, equitable and consistent access to nutritious food for all who need it in Orange County.  Keller holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from UC Irvine and a master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in urban management from Cal State Fullerton. She resides in Placentia and actively contributes to various boards and organizations focused on food insecurity, such as serving on the boards of the California Association of Food Banks and Abound FoodCare.  Register Today!
