    Virtual Society Social

    Mar 4, 08:30 AM - 09:30 AM (CT)
Free for everyone! Join us for this virtual Society Social! We're making it easy to meet new people from across the region! We'll sort participants into smaller breakout sessions with pre-determined topics, so no need to stress over small talk. **We'll also be providing a $10 DoorDash voucher, so we can all enjoy coffee together! We'll be breaking participants into groups of 2-3 in each breakout room. In each room, you'll have 15 minutes to chat about three things, and then rotate to the next room! Here are the three things so you can be prepared: Name, and where are you located? How long have you been involved with the MN CFA Society? Can you share something about your past job experience?   Share one of these if you'd like: If you could have dinner with any person, who would it be and why? What was your first job? Connection challenge: Spend the last few minutes finding at least one thing you have in common that has nothing to do with finance

Powering What's Next: How Electrification Reshapes Infrastructure Investing

    Mar 24, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (CT)
Powering What’s Next: How Electrification Reshapes Infrastructure Investing explores how artificial intelligence is driving far more than demand for chips and hyperscalers—it is accelerating the electrification of the global economy and fueling the first material increase in electricity demand in decades. As AI adoption and broader electrification trends converge, the implications for infrastructure are profound. This session examines why capturing these opportunities requires a nuanced, textured investment approach that spans energy, utilities, REITs, and adjacent sectors, and how investors can position portfolios to benefit from the transformation reshaping the future of power and infrastructure. Speaker Paul Baiocchi, CFA Chief ETF Strategist SS&C ALPS Advisors Register
