    2026 Professional Mentorship Program Orientation

    By invitation only to approved mentors and mentees. Each year 60-80 people in our region pass Level 3 and receive their CFA Charterholder Designation. These are the people who have made a commitment to professional excellence and ethics, and who one day will lead our investment community. Many of them are looking for someone willing to offer advice and be a sounding board on topics like: How to set goals for your next career steps Navigating a career transition Work/life balance Management and leadership roles New CFA Charterholders can benefit greatly from professional mentoring. That mentor just might be you. Give back this year by getting to know a young professional. Share your knowledge and experience in a meaningful way that helps shape the future of our industry.     Society Social - Sailing Event

    Join the CFA Society for an afternoon of sailing, networking, and connection on Bde Maka Ska, hosted by Fredrikson. On Wednesday, September 16, from 3:00-5:30 p.m., participants will enjoy a hands-on sailing experience with the Minneapolis Sailing Center. Working together, you'll rig the boat, learn the fundamentals of sailing, and spend time on one of Minneapolis' most scenic lakes. Following the sailing session, please join us for a hosted networking reception at Barbette from 5:30-7:00 p.m., providing an opportunity to connect with fellow financial professionals in a relaxed setting. Unable to attend the sailing portion? We welcome you to join us for the reception at Barbette. Space for sailing is limited, so we encourage you to register early. We look forward to seeing you there! Space is limited; only the first 15 people to RSVP to Megan will be able to attend the sailing portion of the event. We'll have a bit more room at Barbette, so please check on space for this portion of the event too!

Cancellation Policy
We recognize that scheduling conflicts can arise. Our cancellation policies vary by event, but typically, if you cancel at least two days prior to the event, we will issue a refund. To initiate this refund, please contact us.

Professional Learning (PL) Credits
PL credits are automatically applied to members who are also CFA Institute members. Generally, 1 hour of content = 1 PL credit.

Bringing a Guest
Guests need to have their own free CFA Institute account. As host, you are welcome to create this account for your guest. Guest Enrollment only requires First Name, Last Name, and a valid Email Address. 

On-site registrations will be allowed as available and are payable with check, credit card, or cash.
