NEW in 2025
The Retired Associate Membership is available to CFA Charterholders in Vancouver who are retired from their professional financial position and no longer need to maintain the CFA designation. It is a local society membership specifically catering to this cohort of retired members who wish to stay connected to the Vancouver CFA community and local member offerings and are not yet eligible to receive the complimentary CFA Institute and society memberships (70+ years old).
The membership fee is CDN$70 per year and is paid directly to CFA Society Vancouver. The membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. The fee will not be prorated or refunded at any time throughout the year.

ELIGIBILITY SUMMARY
This new membership offering from CFA Society Vancouver is open to CFA Charterholders in Vancouver who:
a) are retired from their professional financial position
b) no longer need to maintain the CFA designation – and therefore their CFA Institute membership **
c) have no need for any other CFA Institute membership benefits
d) want to stay connected to the Vancouver CFA community and local member offerings
e) are not yet eligible to receive complimentary CFA Institute and society memberships (70+ years old)
** This membership is not available if you hold/renew your CFA Institute membership. Members with a CFA Institute membership would continue to pay their society membership through CFA Institute.
