AI Fundamentals in Finance: Understanding the Evolving Landscape in 2026

Artificial intelligence has advanced rapidly over the past year, but separating signal from noise has become more difficult.    Building on last year's successful session, we welcome back Aaron Dunn, CFA to take us through what has materially changed in AI over the last twelve months.   Gain an understanding of : How much of the current hype is justified What is working in practice Where the limitations remain What current trends may suggest for the second half of 2026 and beyond Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of where AI currently stands in 2026, how to think more critically about its applications in finance, and which opportunities, risks, and developments are most worth watching as the field continues to evolve. 

Copilot for Finance Professionals

This course will introduce finance professionals to the basics of Copilot, a generative AI-powered assistant, to enhance their productivity and decision-making in various Microsoft applications.  Participants will learn about Copilot features and capabilities, and practice applying use cases with a focus on finance such as data analysis, research, document drafting, presentation creation, and email communication. The course will also cover best practices, tips, and limitations of using Copilot, including prompt engineering as well as some ethical and security considerations.
