Sonia Gandhi, CFA is the Sustainability Lead and Senior Director- Education at CFA Institute. In her role, she is responsible for the development of educational products in sustainability for the finance industry. She recently led the development of CFA Institute’s latest skills based offering in this space, “Climate Risk, Valuation & Investing Certificate”.
Previously, she promoted and delivered educational content for CFA Institute members and investment professionals in the area of ethics and professional standards. She facilitated ethical decision making workshops for investment banks, asset managers, regulators, professional bodies, as well as universities across the globe.
Sonia has spent several years in the Investment industry working with global blue chip Investment Banks. As Director, Institutional Equities, she was responsible for Deutsche Bank's APAC client base. She also worked with JP Morgan, BNP Paribas and Jardine Fleming in various roles, responsible for equity sales, capital market transactions and global account management.
