Local Volunteer Opportunities

CFA Society Winnipeg depends upon and selects future board members from the volunteer committees who work on projects on behalf of the organization. Whether you have a little time once a year or a lot of time throughout the year, CFA Society Winnipeg has a role for you.

Involvement with CFA Society Winnipeg is a great opportunity to network with peers and potential employers.

A role to fit your area of interest and schedule:

• Programming - Assist in planning one speaker event during the fiscal year – with our help.
• Forecast Dinner - Help plan and coordinate our premier financial industry event for 500+ attendees.
• University Relations - Participate in ongoing or one-time projects (ie: Career Fair) to promote the CFA® Program to University students.
• Ethics Challenge - Help organize or judge the annual CFA Societies Canada Prairie Region event.
• Golf Tournament - Help plan and participate in our annual golf tournament.
• Candidate Relations - Assist in planning a networking/mentoring event for CFA® Candidates during the fiscal year.
• Membership - Assist with member networking events, charter award ceremony or other member value activity.
• Public Awareness - Be a part of building awareness of the CFA® brand in the community in an ongoing or one-time project.
• Technology - Work with us to keep our social media and website accounts up to date with news and information.

The CFA Society Winnipeg Nominating Committee will meet with anyone interested in joining the Board of Directors for the upcoming fiscal year.
