Hamish is responsible for managing multi-asset portfolios for large institutional investors, diversified funds offered by Harbour, as well as the BNZ KiwiSaver, YouWealth and Private Wealth Series Funds. He also provides macroeconomic advice and research to the entire Harbour investment team. Hamish previously spent 6 years in Harbour's Fixed Income team as a Fixed Income and Currency Strategist. Before joining Harbour in July 2019, Hamish worked at Barclays Investment Bank for 8 years in Singapore and London, including as the Head of FX & Emerging Markets Macro Strategy Research for Asia. Prior to this, Hamish was a Senior Analyst in the Financial Markets Research team at the Reserve Bank of NZ, responsible for presenting financial market analysis to RBNZ policymakers. He holds a first-class BCA (Hons) in Economics from Victoria University of Wellington.
