Qing Ding is Head of Portfolio Strategy and Research, where she leads the integration of investment strategy, research and total-portfolio decision-making. She is responsible for ensuring that bottom-up investment opportunities are consistently assessed, prioritised, and aligned with top-down asset allocation, active risk targets, and the Fund’s overall investment objectives. Qing brings extensive experience across asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment research and analysis, developed through senior roles at ANZ Investments, NZ Super Fund, and the Government Superannuation Fund Authority. Earlier in her career, Qing held analytical, corporate banking, and economic research roles at Westpac New Zealand, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and AMP Capital Investors.
